SMATV Installation

SMATV (Satellite Master Antenna Television) refers to a technology that combines various satellite and broadcast feeds to produce a single integrated cable signal for distribution to a cabling network. In other words, a SMATV system allows you to operate your own in-house cable provider.

We set up a satellite dish and TV antennae to receive programming from satellite providers and local broadcast networks. These antennae connect to multiple racks of electronic equipment, which tune in the channels you select for your cable lineup and merge them into a single cable signal. This stream may also include local on-campus channels like a campus TV station, information and billboard channels, live campus events, and so on.

SMATV (Satellite Master Antenna Television) allows you to receive programming directly from the satellite. You can select your preferred programs, including special corporate broadcasts, distance learning, athletic events, and foreign language programming. Orientals provides and installs all of the goods and systems needed to establish TV distribution networks across many receiving sites, such as Satellite Master Antenna Television (SMATV) RF head ends and IF distribution systems.
